Valentine Maritime has signed the contract with the Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) for Pipeline Replacement Project – VI.
The contract, won against international competitive bidding, includes total ‘EPCI’ solutions – Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Installation of subsea pipelines and modification of existing facilities in Mumbai Offshore.

Hyundai-Saipem-SK Engineering JV has awarded VM the Subsea Pipelines Installation works under the Al-Zour Refinery Project. Phase 1 of the project is on fast track basis and VM is to complete installation of 5 Nos pipelines and 4 nos Fiber Optic cables by end December 2017. VM will mobilize to site within 3 months to shore pull and lay approx. 90 km of piplines (30” – 4 nos & 10” 1 no.) and complete Flooding, cleaning, gauging, & hydrostatic testing of the same. VM will be providing shallow lay barge services to EMAS for carrying out pipelaying activities in water depths ranging from 3.4 mtrs to 11 mtrs. VM’s pipelay barge “Maridive Constructor” is expected to lay over 120 kms of pipelines in ARAMCO’s Hasbah fields using a custom designed and fabricated short stinger . It is expected that the pipelaying campaign will last for over 6 months.

VM starts the new year with a subcontract from tecnicas Reunidas worth US $ 46,000,0000. The pipelines and composite cable installation works will be carried out under ADOC’s Hail Field Development Project for Early Production Scheme. The 3 pipelines (18”, 8” & 6” x 9 km long) will be pulled to shore on both sides at Hail and Ghasha Islands and then midline tie-ins will be performed. The project also entails trenching and back filling the near shore areas.
